The Jets played their first show back home after 7 months away with a ‘secret’ show at Springfields as the first Aussie show for new drummer Craig Rosevear. They were billed as ‘Roy Rodgers and the Dirt Track Cowboys’. They played FRC and Aint No Fun as the encore’s.

The changes kept coming for the Jets with Jimi ‘the human’ Hocking recruited to the ‘Helping Hand’ tour for a short time while Richard Lara was still recovering from an illness he had picked up in the USA. At the time, this was always intended to be for a short time.
The Jets played one warm-up gig in Lismore before their first official show with new touring members Rosevear and Hocking as the Screaming Jets in Wangaratta.
