6th October 2023 onwards…
Friday 6th October 2023 was the official release date for the new album ‘Professional Misconduct and it finished the day as the number one on the National I-Tunes Album Chart.
The album debuted on the official Aria Album charts at number 3 and was number 1 on the Australian charts, number 1 on Independant charts and number 1 of Vinyl Albums sales chart.
The Screaming Jets took to the road with five shows in five nights in different cities as a part of radio station Triple M’s Garage Sessions playing to an intimate group of contest winners.
For these shows, the Jets had Dario Bortolin from the Baby Animals on bass guitar.

For their show in Townsville, the Jets introduced Adm Ventoura on bass who has featured on the the last few tours with Midnight Oil.
Adm joined the Oil’s touring group following the death of their bass played Bones Hillman.

The first headlining show without Paul Woseen.
The Jets had Paul Elliott on bass who had previously been a stand-in guitarist for the Jets in August 2022 for a pair of dates when Scott could not ruled out with covid.
Fast Fact: Paul Elliott has also been credited as co-writer for one Jets song alongside Paul Woseen for the song ‘Sense’ which is only available as a bonus track on the ‘Elvis…I Remember’ CD single.

On the 23rd of February, the Jets played a 3 song set at the Stag and Hunter hotel Newcastle to launch the Paul Woseen Memorial Grant which is an initiative to support local up and coming artists from the greater Newcastle area.
In February 2024, the Jets recorded a cover of Taylor Swift’s We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together in Brisbane for Triple M ‘versions’ special ahead of Swift’s Australian tour.
This was the first ever Screaming Jets release without Paul Woseen on bass.

Above shows the advertised line-up, but for the first time in any Red Hot summer tour, the promoters tinkered with the order of bands 2, 3 and 4 for various shows.
Rumour has it that the organisers made this move because they had no confidence in the Angels with Nick Norton as lead singer and how that would be accepted by the crowds.
