Craig Rosevear departs and Col Hatchman becomes a Jet
The Screaming Jets played at the Triple MMM Rock Sport and Comedy Show at the Metro Theatre in Melbourne and appeared live on the radio with this acoustic version of ‘Shine Over Me’.

The Screaming Jets created news headlines when they got kicked off an Impulse Airlines flight.

Friday September 15th:
Coca-Cola Redfest concert at Randwick Racecourse. The Jets played after the Sydney Olympic Games ceremony was broadcast on giant screens.

OCTOBER 9th 2000 – THE RELEASE OF ‘SCAM’ – The 5th studio album by the Screaming Jets

The ‘Scam’ album was produced by music legend Ross Wilson (centre of photo) mostly at Sing, Sing studios in Richmond, Melbourne. Top left of the photo is engineer Kalju Tonuma.

The original pressing of the ‘Scam’ Album had ‘Survival of the Fit’ which became ‘141’ on the ‘Do Ya’ Album as well as ‘ESFD’ and ‘Because I love You’ which later came out as B-Sides.
The general release album included ‘The Protest Song’, ‘Higher With You’ and the album closer ‘Don’t Be Sorry’.

The back cover of the ‘Scam’ album had Col Hatchman in the picture but Craig Rosevear played on the recording.
